
As part of the always exciting and usually confusing Biennale of Sydney, in 2018 I was lucky enough to project manage Ryan Gander’s major installation work. 400 square metres of hand-shaped styrofoam later, we successfully recreated the view from the artist’s childhood bedroom window on a 1:1 scale in a heritage listed warehouse on Cockatoo Island.
