For the 2022 edition of the Sydney Biennale I landed the role of Installation Manager, tasked with transforming a cavernous concrete echo chamber of doom (aka The Cutaway at Barangaroo) into a modern art gallery. Managing a team of 40+ artists, installers and contractors across six weeks of install at the height of Sydney’s last great COVID wave – I also found a few spare minutes to design and install exhibition lighting for the 5000m2 venue.
